David Williams has joined our Board as a Non-Executive Director.
Since our three founder partners founded us 12 years ago, we've grown to comprise over 140 staff. Over the next five years, we're expecting to see more growth. David’s private equity expertise (he was lately senior partner of Dunedin Capital, and previously of Graphite Capital) will add much to our planning for this growth.
David has sat on a number of boards over the years as an investor. His understanding of how companies work will be invaluable to us as we tailor what they do to accurately suitour clients.
Elin Pinnell, our Managing Partner, says ‘we’re halfway through the delivery of our first structured business plan ending in 2020 so we have started thinking about how our business will look up to 2025. Successful private equity has a powerful record of substantially improving businesses, so we are delighted that David’s long experience and expertise will help us make what we do better and stronger for our clients.’
David Williams said ‘I have known Capital Law, principally through their private equity team, but also their litigation and property lawyers, from almost the start of their firm. I have always liked what they do and the way that they do it, and am very excited at the prospect of working with the Board as they develop the business in what is likely to be quite a challenging environment over the coming years. The major benefit is how committed the whole firm is to developing and changing’.
